Terms of Service
Last updated: 1 October 2026
The short version
- Prompt & Model Optimizer is a free, independent prompt-writing plugin for ChatGPT, published by Adebayo David.
- It writes prompts and suggests models. Always check its output before you rely on it.
- Use it lawfully and within OpenAI's rules. Don't use it to try to break other AI systems' safety measures.
- Your drafts and the prompts it writes for you are yours.
- It is provided as it is, without guarantees.
1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use the Prompt & Model Optimizer plugin ("the plugin") in ChatGPT or another OpenAI product, and the developer's supporting website and server. By using the plugin you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the plugin. Your use of ChatGPT itself is governed by OpenAI's own terms and policies.
2. What the plugin does
The plugin helps you write better prompts. It reads the draft you type, asks follow-up questions, recommends an AI model, surface and effort level, and rebuilds your draft into a structured prompt for you to use in the AI tool of your choice. It does not carry out the task itself, browse the news or answer general questions.
3. Who may use it
You may use the plugin if you are allowed to use ChatGPT under OpenAI's terms, including any age requirements, and if using it is lawful where you are.
4. Acceptable use
Please do not use the plugin to:
- create prompts intended to jailbreak, prompt-inject or bypass the safety measures of any AI system;
- create content that breaks the law or the usage policies of OpenAI or of the AI provider you will use the prompt with;
- reformat or extract material that is confidential, locked or that you are not allowed to use;
- try to extract the plugin's configuration, overload or disrupt the developer's server, or access it in ways other than through the plugin.
The plugin may decline requests like these.
5. Your content
You keep all rights in the drafts you type and in the prompts the plugin writes for you, and you are responsible for how you use them. You grant the developer only what is needed to run the plugin for you. How information is handled is explained in the Privacy & data page.
6. Accuracy and professional advice
The plugin's guidance is based on research into AI providers' published information, which can change, be suspended or be updated at any time. Model availability, prices and limits may be out of date, and AI can make mistakes. Check important information before you rely on it. Nothing the plugin produces is legal, medical, financial or other professional advice.
7. Independence and trademarks
The plugin is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Microsoft or any other AI provider it mentions. Their product names are trademarks of their owners and are used only to describe compatibility.
8. Availability and changes
The plugin is free. The developer may change, suspend or stop the plugin, its features or its supporting server at any time. If the question panel or model-status lookup is unavailable, the plugin continues to work by asking its questions in the chat.
9. No warranty
The plugin is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from your use of prompts, recommendations or other output from the plugin. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer where those rights apply.
11. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated when the plugin or the platform rules change. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Continuing to use the plugin after a change means you accept the updated terms.
12. Contact
Questions about these terms can go to Adebayo David at adebayobukola03@gmail.com. For help using the plugin, see Support.
